Travel RN - Cath Lab - Electrophysiology (EP)

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Cath Lab position requiring current EP experience and a valid IA or compact RN license.

Job Details

- Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) department of a cardiac catheterization lab,

- Care for patients undergoing EP and cardiac cath lab procedures,

- Exposure to interventional radiology (IR) procedures may be required,

- Uses EPIC CUPID electronic medical record system,

- Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting physicians during cath and EP procedures,

Job Requirements

- Active IA or compact RN license required at time of consideration,

- Minimum 24 months of recent experience in Electrophysiology (EP), Cardiac Cath Lab, or Interventional Radiology (IR),

- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required,

- AHA or ARC Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required,

- EPIC EMR experience preferred,

- Driver's license required for consideration,

- Completion of a discipline-specific skills checklist required,

Additional Information

- Applicants must provide a professional reference from a supervisor or nurse manager within the past 24 months,

- Cardiac cath lab and EP experience are strongly preferred,

- Travel experience is desirable but not required,

- Candidates must not have been employed with the client within the previous 12 months,

- Team members are expected to work collaboratively during complex procedures,
