Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for an Operations Manager - Fuel & Lubricants for a growing fuel, lubricants, and bulk liquid distribution organization. This is a full-time, direct-hire, onsite opportunity based in Las Vegas, Nevada, supporting a newly opened location during an exciting expansion phase.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
This Operations Manager role will lead and build day-to-day operations for a new fuel and lubricants facility, overseeing trucking, warehouse, compliance, and safety functions. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this position will serve as the operational backbone of the Las Vegas site, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficiency, and team performance. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily operations for fuel and lubricant delivery, including trucking, dispatch, and warehouse activities
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, PHMSA, EPA, OSHA, and HazMat regulations
- Manage bulk liquid storage operations, tank farms, and loading/unloading processes
- Lead, hire, and supervise drivers, dispatchers, warehouse staff, and supervisors
- Implement and maintain SOPs, safety programs, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Monitor KPIs, operational costs, scheduling efficiency, and overall performance
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Operations management experience within fuel, lubricants, bulk liquids, chemicals, or related industries
- Strong working knowledge of DOT regulations, HazMat compliance, and commercial trucking operations
- Experience overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, and fleet maintenance
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and manage cross-functional teams
- Comfort working with Excel and learning new ERP or operational systems
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This full-time role offers a base salary between $110,000-$140,000 , depending on experience, plus performance-based bonus eligibility. The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, and a casual onsite work environment. Relocation support may be considered for the right candidate.
