Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $180,000 per year.
Job responsibilities:
* Direct all core accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
* Ensure adherence to GAAP standards and maintain strong internal controls.
* Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
* Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
* Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic financial initiatives and process improvements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline; CPA preferred.
* A minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting exposure.
* Previous background in manufacturing required; aerospace experience.
* Proficiency with ERP systems, ideally NetSuite, and advanced Excel skills.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
* Ability to manage large data sets and deliver accurate reporting under tight deadlines.
* Skilled in implementing and optimizing ERP systems and financial tools.
* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and compliance standards.
* Proven ability to lead and develop accounting teams effectively.
* Demonstrate a high level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.
