Base Salary $66,500 – $76,500 per year.

Location Home location to be determined upon assignment, within 40 miles of New York, NY.

Role Overview As Assistant Operations Leader in a Wonder restaurant, you will support the General Manager in day‑to‑day operations to ensure smooth functioning and success of the restaurant. You will help create a positive work environment, prioritize food and team safety, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Assist the Senior Operations Leader in developing, engaging, inspiring, and motivating staff members.

Recruit and train top talent for the restaurant.

Aid the Senior Operations Leader in achieving operational goals and budget targets.

Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding team achievements, priorities, protocols, and operational changes.

Demonstrate effective floor management by optimizing staff deployment for maximum efficiency.

Drive restaurant sales and service efficiency by resolving operational obstacles.

Supervise inventory and food safety protocols to ensure accuracy and adherence to shelf life and product dating guidelines.

Commit to ongoing training and development in both kitchen and dining room operations to uphold standards and guidelines.

Maintain consistent adherence to food safety and security standards.

Ensure all team members deliver excellent customer service.

Experience & Qualifications

At least two years of restaurant supervisor or management experience in a high‑volume QSR or full‑service restaurant.

Demonstrated ability to manage and develop teams of 15+ members.

Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.

Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.

Professionalism and adherence to policies and procedures.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Strong team player.

Requirements

Must be 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for a full shift while working.

Must have open availability, including night and weekend.

Must have a current Food Handlers Certification.

Role Details

Salary Range: $66,500 – $76,500 per year.

Location: Home location to be determined upon assignment, within 40 miles of New York, NY.

Bench Position Acknowledgement By applying for a Bench position, you acknowledge and agree that this role requires flexibility to work across multiple locations within a designated region. As a Bench employee, you provide operational support to various stores until a home location is assigned. Upon successful completion of the Manager in Training program, you will be assigned to either a temporary or permanent location based on business needs.
