As a
Speech Pathologist
at
Sasco River Center , you will play a vital role in helping individuals of all ages overcome communication and speech challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in diagnosing and treating speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, making a significant impact on the lives of those you serve. You will work in an innovative, family-centered, multidisciplinary practice offering a wide range of diagnostic and therapy services for children, adolescents, young adults, and families. Our team specializes in collaborative and comprehensive testing, psychotherapy and sensory processing.
Speech Pathologist Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities, identifying communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific goals and objectives for each client's needs.
Provide evidence-based speech therapy, including articulation therapy, language intervention, fluency therapy, and voice therapy, as required by the client's diagnosis.
Educate clients and their families on speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and home exercises to support progress.
Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive client care.
Speech Pathologist Full-Time Benefits (this role starts as part-time and may have an opportunity to transition into a full-time position)
Compensation:
50% of Net Collections; estimated annual salary equivalent to $100,000

Speech Pathologist Requirements
Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut
Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Specialized experience in pediatric speech therapy is a plus!
