Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – Critical Care – West Hospital Shift:

7pm‑7:30am

Sign‑On Bonus:

RNs with 1+ year specialty experience may receive up to $15,000; New Graduate RNs up to $10,000.

Job Summary The ICU (Critical Care) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients, including assessing patient status, determining priorities, implementing clinical interventions for acutely ill patients, developing and performing patient care plans, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.

Essential Functions

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.

Conduct and analyze initial and ongoing patient assessments, create a plan of care, implement treatment, and evaluate effectiveness.

Synthesize and prioritize information to take immediate, evidence‑based, patient‑focused action using clinical judgment.

Anticipate and respond confidently to rapidly changing patient conditions.

Administer medications safely in accordance with practice standards and organizational policies.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred, not required).

Certifications

Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS required within 6 months of hire; preferred at hire).

PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferred at hire; required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for pediatric units).

Experience

1 year RN experience (required).

6 months experience in Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department (preferred).
