Field-based role in Western Kansas (Kansas licensed master’s‑level clinicians living in Dodge City, Garden City, Liberal, Hays, Scott City, Norton, Phillipsburg, Smith Center, St Francis, Goodland, Ulysses, Lakin, Ness City, Hutchinson, Pratt, Hugoton, Great Bend, Marysville, Junction City, Manhattan).
Work arrangement:
Field‑based; occasional office attendance for meetings or training. Hybrid/virtual work is limited to candidates within reasonable commuting distance of the posting locations, unless an accommodation is granted per law.
Responsibilities:
Use appropriate screening criteria knowledge and clinical judgment to assess member needs.
Conduct assessments and develop care plans to address objectives and goals identified during assessment.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan and modify the plan as needed.
Support member access to appropriate quality and cost‑effective care.
Coordinate with internal and external resources to meet identified needs of members and collaborate with providers.
Position Requirements:
Requires MA/MS in social work, counseling, or a related behavioral health field or a degree in nursing, with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in social work counseling and broad experience with complex psychiatric and substance abuse or substance abuse disorder treatment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current active unrestricted license such as RN, LCSW, LMHC, LICSW, LPC, LMFT, LMSW, or Clinical Psychologist to practice within the scope of licensure in Kansas.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:
Experience in case management and telephonic and/or in‑person coaching with members with a broad range of complex psychiatric/substance abuse and/or medical disorders.
