Patient Representative – MD Now Urgent Care

Job Summary As Patient Representative, you'll provide welcoming check‑in service, handle patient records, answer clinic calls, verify insurance, manage the daily balance check, and support visit flow across MD Now locations.
Hours and Schedule Clinic operates Monday–Sunday 8 am–8 pm. Employees must be available to work at any of these hours.
Responsibilities
Check‑in patients promptly and follow all Web Check‑in procedures.
Answer clinic phone calls, provide information, or refer questions to appropriate staff.
Verify insurance information quickly and accurately.
Ensure occupational client preference cards and procedures are followed.
Review patient paperwork to confirm completeness and collect necessary insurance and demographic info.
Complete Daily Balance Checklist after each shift, reconciling all forms of payment.
Travel or float among MD Now locations within the assigned area as needed.
Qualifications
Preferred: 1 year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting.
Obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
Strong customer‑service skills.
Proficient with multiple computer programs.
