Responsibilities
Understand the product flow and processing systems and know the whereabouts of all storage areas.
Identify all raw materials and finished goods.
Understand material handling tasks.
Complete picking tickets as required.
Palletize and stage products per procedures.
Perform shipping and receiving clerical tasks as required.
Prepare and complete outbound orders (pick, label, build pallet, wrap).
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods according to SOPs.
Perform daily maintenance and upkeep of forklift equipment.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform duties safely and report all observed safety hazards to the supervisor.
Be punctual and at work daily, as scheduled.
Perform other duties as assigned or required by the supervisor, manager or operational conditions.

Minimum Qualifications
6 months of experience in a warehouse environment.
6 months previous experience with operating a forklift (sit‑down experience preferred).
Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office Programs.
Ability to work overtime on short notice.
Basic mathematical skills for counting inventory and understanding stock levels.
Skills in performing operations with units such as inches, feet, and yards.
Low to moderate lifting with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to read and write English sufficient to perform the essential functions of the position and satisfactorily meet business demands.
Ability to work the scheduled hours of 5:00 am – 1:30 pm Monday‑Friday and overtime as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent level of education preferred.
FedEx & UPS small parcel experience not required but is a plus.
Physical/Mental Demands While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to lift, move, and handle materials, tools, and controls. The employee is regularly required to use paper and a pen, pencil and/or keyboard to read and record data. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, walk or climb with legs and talk or hear. The employee must routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or more up to 60 pounds, and occasionally move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The physical and mental requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Working Environment The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate; however, it can be loud for periods of time while working near equipment that is in operation. Hearing protection and safety glasses may be required. The employee must be able to hear a forklift horn. The employee must be able to work alone on a forklift for extended periods of time and also be able to work with others as required.
