Aramark invites enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a General Utility Worker. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and safety in the food service environment, contributing to a positive experience for guests, customers, and staff.
Job Description As a General Utility Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of dishes, equipment, and the overall work area. You’ll be an essential member of the kitchen team, helping to keep the environment sanitary and efficient.
Responsibilities
Sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils.
Maintain the dishwashing station, three‑compartment sink, and related areas.
Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and report any issues to management.
Perform light maintenance and custodial tasks as needed.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co‑workers.
Adhere to Aramark safety policies, including proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
Help protect the security of company assets.
Qualifications
Basic understanding of sanitation procedures.
Ability to follow safety procedures involving hazardous chemicals.
Flexible availability for evenings and weekends.
Physical Demands This role may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking and standing. Uniforms and personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
