Speech Pathology/Therapist

Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation, responsibilities include diagnostic, evaluative, and therapeutic procedures for the treatment of those disabled by illness or injury when prescribed by a licensed physician. The Speech Therapist will provide speech and language treatments to patients.

Essential Job Duties

Preparatory Data Gathering – Obtains appropriate physician order. Reviews patient’s records and test results. Confers with physician, nursing and other members of the health care team, as needed.

Evaluation Skills – Performs evaluations in a setting appropriate to the patient's disability, age and psychosocial needs. Exhibits respect for the needs of the patient and:
