We are seeking an experienced
Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
(NP) to join our growing cardiology team. This role is ideal for a clinically strong NP with a passion for cardiovascular care and at least two years of hands‑on cardiology experience in either a practice‑based or hospital‑based setting.
Position Overview The Cardiology NP will collaborate closely with cardiologists and clinical staff to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered cardiovascular care across inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, histories, and physical exams
Manage and follow patients with acute and chronic cardiac conditions
Order, interpret, and document diagnostic studies (EKGs, labs, imaging, stress testing, etc.)
Develop and implement treatment plans
Provide patient education, counseling, and follow‑up care
Document accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and referring providers
Qualifications
Current Nevada Nurse Practitioner license
National NP certification (AANP or ANCC)
Minimum of 2 years cardiology experience in a cardiology practice or hospital setting
Strong clinical assessment and critical‑thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical environment
