Medcor is looking to hire an EMT or Paramedic on a PRN basis (as‑needed) to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction site clinic in
Kansas City, MO, Northland Area . Hours: Monday – Saturday 6:00 AM – 5:30 PM, night shifts also available. Days and hours may change or vary based on client needs.
Applicants should be comfortable working in a construction environment, able to climb stairs and work at heights as needed.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Medcor medical and operational leadership, local medical providers and client staff.
Provide patient care, ongoing workers’ compensation case management, RTW program facilitation and treatment plan monitoring.
Work closely with outside medical providers.
A Typical Day
Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on‑site clinic.
Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses per Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols).
Build and maintain internal team relationships.
Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
Pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
Documentation of care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
Case management.
Medical charting.
OSHA record‑keeping.
Qualifications
Proper licensure for the position you are applying for.
Valid CPR/BLS certification.
Ability to lift a 50 lb emergency response bag.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Positive and outgoing personality.
Willingness to go above and beyond.
Passion for people and delivering best care.
Ability to have fun.
Preferred
Comfortable working in a construction environment.
Familiarity with EMR software and computer skills.
Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
