Position Summary
This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by maintaining, supporting, and enhancing the organization’s talent, culture, and functional excellence while building a strong partnership with business leaders. The role includes executing HR processes, policies, and programs and is based onsite Monday – Friday in Omaha, Nebraska.
Essential Duties and Tasks
Implement and administer programs and policies that comply with organizational values, labor laws, and regulations.
Support the execution of the Performance Management Process.
Administer talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention processes in accordance with all federal, local, and company requirements.
Manage employee and labor relations.
Ensure affirmative action and equal employment compliance.
Review time‑keeping, update payroll changes/corrections.
Organize, maintain, and update employee files, including HRIS systems.
Provide support for ProAmpac Total Rewards, Compensation, and Benefit Programs.
Maintain HR system integrity and data accuracy.
Support ProAmpac culture and core values; drive employee engagement through change management and communication.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
, Education, and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in a large manufacturing organization.
SHRM certification is a plus.
Solid working knowledge of HR processes in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of sensitive information.
Exceptional time‑management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, including presentation skills with executive leadership, staff, and external clients.
Proactive, exercises sound judgment, identifies problems and develops solutions.
Self‑confident, self‑motivated, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Environment Work primarily in a climate‑controlled indoor office environment with minimal safety or health hazards. The role may require occasional exposure to non‑toxic chemicals, airborne dust, and mechanical parts associated with the manufacturing area.
