Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Position Overview
This position is primarily on-site at a customer location, providing dedicated technical support. As part of the Customer Lifecycle Support team, you will be the primary contact the customer site, ensuring maximum system uptime, performance, and long-term customer satisfaction. Travel is minimal and mainly limited to training events or occasional meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Offer daily technical assistance for metal manufacturing systems at client sites
Deploy, initialize, and certify equipment and related hardware
Perform planned maintenance activities and conduct necessary repair work
Identify and fix issues across mechanical, electrical, software, and processing domains, either solo or alongside engineering colleagues
Instruct client staff on equipment usage, upkeep requirements, and optimal operational methods
Evaluate system functionality, examine pattern failures, and deliver detailed technical documentation and insights
Enable system modifications, part exchanges, and sustained performance enhancements
Function as the key technical contact and onsite organizational ambassador
Qualifications
Proven experience servicing complex high-tech systems with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
Technical knowledge of control systems, electrical components, and optical systems
Experience with lasers, optical technologies, Additive Manufacturing (AM), or Beckhoff PLC systems highly preferred
Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, and perform effectively under pressure
