Responsibilities The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and is responsible for processing and transmitting images to PACS.
Qualifications
Current State Nuclear Medicine license issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist preferred.
Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT.
Current BCLS (AHA) required.
Proficient computer skills.
Pay Transparency Centinela Hospital Medical Center offers competitive compensation. The current compensation range for this role is $40.65 to $50.14. Benefits may vary based on collective bargaining agreement requirements and/or the employment status. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, considering skillset, years of experience, education, credentials and licensure.
