What to Expect
Join a fast-paced, customer-focused team supporting one of the most innovative insurance operations in the industry. As an Inbound Customer Service Agent at Tesla Insurance Services, you will handle a high volume of incoming calls from existing and prospective customers, delivering exceptional service while navigating multiple systems and adhering to compliance standards.
What You'll Do
Answer approximately 40 inbound calls per day in a professional and timely manner
Support a wide range of customer needs, including general policy support, billing inquiries, new business quoting and onboarding, underwriting clarification, and vehicle and garaging updates
Navigate between multiple systems and tools to assist callers
Respond to AI-transferred calls with particular attention to compliance and call documentation
Provide empathetic, knowledgeable service that builds trust and reinforces Tesla's brand values
Collaborate with peers and supervisors in a high-volume, team-oriented environment
Participate in coaching, quality reviews, and process improvement initiatives
What You'll Bring
Ability to work 8-hour shifts with one unpaid lunch break and two paid 15-minute breaks
Active Property & Casualty or Personal Lines license (required at hire)
1+ years of experience in customer service experience, call center, or insurance strongly preferred
Strong verbal communication, active listening skills and proficiency in navigating multiple systems
High attention to detail, especially in compliance-driven conversations
Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment, receive real-time feedback and adapting quickly to change
Weekend and evening shifts are not currently required, but there are voluntary overtime opportunities
