Responsibilities
Cleaning and Sanitation:
Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
Bed and Linen Management:
Making beds, changing bed linens, and replacing soiled towels with clean ones.
Restocking and Supplies:
Replenishing guest amenities such as soap, shampoo, coffee, tea, and other toiletries.
Maintenance Reporting:
Identifying and reporting any damages, malfunctions, or maintenance issues to supervisors or the appropriate department.
Waste Disposal:
Emptying trash cans and ensuring rooms are free of debris and food service items.
Guest Interaction:
Maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, responding to basic guest inquiries, and handling requests for additional items or services.
Area Maintenance:
Cleaning and tidying hallways, stairways, and other common areas within the establishment.
Essential Skills
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for cleanliness and the ability to notice small issues that need addressing.
Time Management:
Efficiently managing time to complete assigned tasks within required timeframes.
Physical Stamina:
The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, lifting, and prolonged standing.
Customer Service:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively with guests and other staff members.
Organization:
Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning carts and storage areas.
Work Ethic:
A strong commitment to performing duties effectively and adhering to hotel standards.
