Valley Pizza Inc. – Pizza Maker/Customer Service Representative
Valley Pizza Inc. is a Domino’s Pizza franchise, locally owned and operated for nearly 40 years. We offer a starting wage of $10 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $12 per hour. This position requires proof of experience and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Can lift 10–20 pounds (prepare goods & stock goods)
Can lift 10–20 pounds (remove trash to the dumpster)
Prepare and cook pizzas according to recipes and customer specifications
Portion and prepare pizza toppings according to company standards
Monitor pizza quality throughout the cooking process
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally
Process customer payments and handle cash transactions
Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a friendly manner
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation
Follow all health and safety regulations in the workplace
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
Upsell menu items and promote daily specials to customers
Provide detailed information about menu items, including ingredients and nutritional information
Assist in training new team members on pizza‑making techniques and customer service standards
Qualifications
Ability to communicate clearly
Ability to catch on quickly (training 1 to 2 weeks)
Quick learner / take directions well
Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Customer‑focused attitude with a friendly and supportive demeanor
Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing orders
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Previous experience in food service or customer service is preferred but not required
Basic culinary skills, particularly in pizza preparation and dough handling
Knowledge of various pizza styles and toppings
Ability to memorize and recall menu items and specials
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously
Proficiency in using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems
Ability to maintain composure in high‑pressure situations
Strong attention to detail, especially in food preparation and order accuracy
Demonstrated teamwork skills and adaptability to changing work conditions
Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices
