Busser
The Busser is integral part of our BBQrew and plays an essential role in the success of the guest dining experience at Phil’s BBQ. The Busser greets and assists guests with their tableside dining needs such as plates, utensils, bibs, napkins, beverage refills, and condiments. Busser continues to provide legendary customer service by removing items from the table as guests finish their dining experience, providing to‑go containers for any leftovers, wet towels, and plastic bags as needed. Upon departing, the Busser removes any remaining dirty tableware, clears, cleans and resets tables, restocks condiments, and cleans booths, chairs, and surrounding floor area as needed for the next party. We see our team of bussers as the concierge of legendary service.
Responsibilities
Greet and assist guests with tableside dining needs.
Provide beverage refills, condiments, and additional items as requested.
Remove used items and clear tables as guests finish dining.
Supply to‑go containers for leftovers.
Wet napkins and dispose of plastic bags.
Clean, reset, and restock tables between parties.
Maintain clean booths, chairs, and surrounding floor area.
Requirements
Entry level – no prior experience required.
Excellent customer service skills.
Detail oriented and able to perform physical tasks such as lifting and walking.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced restaurant environment.
