About the Role Right At School provides pre‑ and after‑school extended day programs focused on disguised learning activities and daily enrichment to support all students’ success.

We are looking for a dynamic educator to energize our morning and afternoon sessions.
Program Hours & Pay
Program Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 8:45 am and 3:25 pm – 6:00 pm
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on education and experience)
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead daily program meetings, review goals, share ideas, and encourage collaboration.
Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
Model positive guidance and effective classroom management to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
Prioritize safety and joy by monitoring the environment, addressing hazards, and following safety protocols.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Outstanding customer service and relationship‑building skills.
Strong team player.
At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age.
Ability to lift 25 lb.
Drive to inspire a love for learning and commitment to healthy living.
Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.
Pennsylvania State Requirements
Meet state‑specific requirements.
First Aid and CPR (in‑person) certification.
Clear tuberculosis test.
Minimum age 18 years.
Preferred qualifications:
Certified D. A. A. (CDA) or
High school diploma/GED plus at least 30 college credits in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or human services; OR
High school diploma/GED plus 600 or more hours of secondary training; OR
High school diploma/GED with 15 credit hours in relevant fields plus 1 year of experience; OR
ArHS diploma/GED plus 2 years experience.
