Human Resources Generalist
Classification: Full-time, Salary, Exempt
Compensation: $65,000 - $72,000 per year, depending on experience

What You’ll Do
Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to team members and management.
Maintain employee records in HRIS, including updates related to hiring, terminations, leaves, and promotions.
Address employee relations issues, such as complaints and disputes, ensuring timely and fair resolution.
Create and implement HR initiatives and resources to support company goals.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist with the open enrollment process.
Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify areas for organizational improvement.
Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws and company policies, including EEO, ADA, and FMLA.
Partner with managers to handle performance management and team member development.
Manage new hire onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Conduct audits of payroll data to ensure accuracy, including reviewing timecards and adjustments.
Monitor employee recognition programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
Update the HRIS system and organizational chart when adding new properties or team members.
Be a trusted partner to hiring managers—guiding job descriptions, interview prep, and candidate evaluation.
Deliver an outstanding employee experience from preboarding to offboarding.
What You Bring
HR Generalists will be expected to obtain the SHRM-CP or PHR certification within the first 18 months in the role, if not already earned.
Experience with HRIS systems (UKG preferred).
Knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations.
Alignment with company core values and purpose.
2+ years of experience in human resources or a related field, preferably in a generalist role.
Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred—but we value experience and drive just as much.
