The Accounting Officer maintains the financial health of the company by tracking all money flowing in and out. They act as a bridge between data entry and high-level financial analysis, preparing the reports that management uses to make strategic decisions.
Financial Reporting & Documentation Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Reconciling bank statements and general ledger accounts. Managing the Month-End Close process to ensure all transactions for the period are recorded.
Operational Accounting Verifying vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments. Monitoring client payments, sending reminders for overdue balances, and managing collections. Overseeing in the processing of employee salaries and tax witholdings.
Compliance & Auditing Ensuring all financial activities adhere to GAAP. Preparing documentation for external auditors. Managing tax filings and ensuring the company remains compliant with tax laws.
