as a Registered Manager to lead Intake and Assessment for our children’s residential care home in Hereford. The role offers a full-time contract, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary and management incentive programme.

Responsibilities
Oversight of admissions: planned and emergency admissions, bridging placements, and stimulation and opportunity through daily programmes tailored to individual needs.
Provide leadership to support children and young people in achieving personal best.

Essential Requirements and Experience
Passionate about making a difference to young people in care.
At least 2 years in a residential care role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role within last 5 years.
Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care essential, Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare preferred; otherwise enrol on Level 5 within 6 months.
Knowledge of quality standards, SCCIF, child care legislation and regulatory requirements.
Skills: planning, organising, budget control, resource allocation, team leadership.
Communication: effective spoken and written communication.
Understanding of trauma and managing challenging behaviour.
Full UK driving licence.
