Animal Medical Center of Troy is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team!
In This Role, You Will
Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
This position is ideal for detail‑oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team‑focused environment.
This is a full‑time position, with availability needed Monday‑Friday. One Saturday shift is required per month.
Full‑time benefits and compensation
Compensation: $23‑26 per hour, for each hour worked*
Bonus package: $2,000
CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum Qualifications And Skill Set
3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Michigan
Proficiency in the following skills:
Surgery set up and assisting
Phlebotomy
Inpatient care
Client education
Anesthesia monitoring

The AMCTroy team is committed to client education and ensuring our clients understand the "why" behind procedures. Our doctors are flexible with their scheduling needs and are well‑equipped with digital radiology, CO2 laser, ultrasound, and more.
