Full Time, Day Shift.

Position Summary The RN provides high quality, safe, cost‑effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient’s experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs high quality and patient‑focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluations that facilitate patient care.

Teaching patients and significant others information concerning health care needs is essential to the caregiving process.

Works as a member of the multidisciplinary team to promote high‑quality, cost‑efficient health care.

Education Minimum: Education recognized by the State of Florida as qualification for Registered Nurse licensure.

Preferred: BSN.

Required Certification / Licensure / Registration

Registered Nurse – licensed in the State of Florida.

American Heart Association BLS certification.

For telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and basic EKG interpretation are also required.
