Company Overview BASX, part of AAON, was founded in 2014 by two entrepreneurial engineers. Based in Redmond, OR, we specialize in precision air handling systems for HVAC solutions. Over the past decade, we have grown from 200 employees to over 800, manufacturing more than 90% of our units in Central Oregon. Our clients span data centers, clean rooms, surgery centers, and other industries that require custom HVAC components.

Job Description We are looking for a detail‑oriented quality auditor to oversee our quality control processes. In this role you will review products for customer compliance, assess production procedures, and evaluate process adherence within the manufacturing environment. You may also train employees on quality standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program.

Lead a team of workers, including assigning tasks and providing guidance.

Motivate and mentor team members to maximize productivity and quality.

Collaborate with the management team to meet production targets.

Allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials to support the production plan.

Monitor and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards.

Investigate and address production and quality‑related issues as they arise.

Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed.

Conduct safety training and audits and provide recommendations for safety improvements.

Identify opportunities for process optimization and improved efficiency.

Implement changes and oversee process improvements to enhance productivity.

Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

Coordinate with inventory control teams to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

Generate regular reports on performance, including productivity, quality, and efficiency metrics.

Provide regular updates to management on production status and challenges.

Education and Experience High School diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience with 3 years of production or manufacturing experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.

Good organizational and time‑management skills.

Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and production management software.

Ability to obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification.

Ability to communicate in written and spoken English.

Essential Mental Functions include: effective written and verbal communication, excellent interpersonal relations, strong decision‑making and analytical problem solving, advanced multi‑tasking and organizational capabilities, effective team collaboration, and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.

Essential Physical Functions

Lift up to 50 lbs.

Sit or stand for up to 95% of work hours.

Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
