Delta Industries, Inc. is a trusted regional construction materials supplier. We are looking for a Dispatch/Customer Service Representative to coordinate the scheduling and delivery of ready‑mix concrete to customer job sites in a timely, safe, and cost‑effective manner. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and process customer orders via phone, email, or order entry systems.

Schedule and dispatch concrete delivery trucks efficiently to meet customer timelines.

Communicate with drivers, plant personnel, and customers throughout the delivery process to ensure satisfaction.

Monitor GPS and dispatch software to track truck locations and make real‑time adjustments to schedules as needed.

Resolve delivery or product issues by coordinating with appropriate personnel and maintaining customer communication.

Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery times, and special instructions.

Provide product and delivery information, pricing, and technical support as needed.

Coordinate with sales, quality control, and operations teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Follow safety protocols and support company compliance with DOT and other regulatory requirements.

Participate in daily production and dispatch meetings as required.

Requirements & Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or customer service preferably in construction or ready‑mix industry.

Knowledge of ready‑mix concrete products and delivery logistics is a strong plus.

Strong computer skills; experience with dispatch software (e.g., Command Alkon, TrackIt) preferred.

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Working Conditions

Office environment with frequent communication via phone and radio.

May require early morning, evening, weekend shifts depending on business needs.
