Role Description This is a PRN, with potential full time status, on-site role for a Flight Paramedic located in Tampa, FL. The Flight Paramedic will provide advanced medical care to patients during air transportation, ensure thorough pre-flight preparation of medical equipment, and manage patient treatments, assessments, and reports. The position involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary medical team, maintaining compliance with operational protocols and aviation safety standards, and being prepared to adapt to diverse clinical situations.
Qualifications
Proficiency in advanced life support techniques, patient assessment, and emergency medical care
Ventilator experience
Experience with pre-flight medical equipment preparation and diligent adherence to safety protocols
Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills in high-stress environments
Ability and readiness to work in fluctuating schedules, including extended hours and international travel
Current paramedic certification/licensure and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications, DOT approved Flight Physiology/Advanced Airway course
Prior air medical transport experience and knowledge of aviation procedures are preferred
Strong problem‑solving abilities, adaptability, and organizational skills
