Description
Mayvin is seeking a
Task Lead
to manage legislative engagement, legal research, and compliance support for an Intelligence Community customer. You will lead a small, high-performing team, own quality and timeliness of deliverables, and serve as the primary coordinator between government leadership and external stakeholders Punt.
This contract is pending award.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have an Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required.
Responsibilities
Provide legislative and legal research to ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and policy requirements
Analyze legal/legislative documents and track developments affecting the customer’s mission
Prepare summaries, reports, and official correspondence (including congressional materials)
Support FOIA, litigation-related tasks, and compliance tracking activities
Manage and oversee all activities for legislative engagement, legal research, and compliance functions
Ensure timely, accurate analysis of applicable statutes, regulations, and policy guidance
Coordinate FOIA actions and compliance reviews to closure
Facilitate effective communication between the customer and external stakeholders (e.g., oversight, partners)
Supervise personnel supporting legal and legislative functions; provide tasking and oversight
Track workload across subtasks; prioritize and allocate resources accordingly
Monitor quality and timeliness of deliverables; enforce standards and corrective actions as needed
Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and Intelligence Community (IC) standards
Align outputs with legislative and legal priorities set by government leadership
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to government leadership based on research/analysis
Maintain coordination with the Program Manager; balance mission execution and customer engagement
Maintain task/status trackers to provide visibility on actions, deadlines, and risks
Prepare/read out status updates and briefings on progress, issues, and dependencies
Support continuous improvement of processes, templates, and workflows for repeatable, compliant delivery
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree desired
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
Candidates must maintain a(url) Professional Demeanor and are expected to dress professionally in support of the client
Experience in legislative analysis, legal research, or policy support within the IC
Demonstrated expertise in analyzing statutory and regulatory requirements relevant to Intelligence Community mission areas
Experience drafting congressional notifications, legal correspondence, and compliance reports
Familiarity with Intelligence Community legal frameworks, FOIA, and case support
JD or advanced legal/policy degree strongly preferred
