Brief Description Coryell Health's Med/Surg Department is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services in a supportive and compassionate environment. We are looking for dedicated RN/LVNs to join our dynamic team in the Health, Wellness, and Fitness Industry. Here, you can greatly impact the lives of patients recovering from surgery or managing acute medical conditions while fostering a culture of teamwork and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care by assessing and monitoring vital signs and symptoms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and necessary lifestyle changes.
Document all patient care activities, responses to treatments, and any changes in condition accurately and timely.
Requirements
Current RN or LVN licensure in the state of Texas.
A minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg nursing experience preferred.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient and colleague interactions.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.
