Job Summary The Siding Operator is responsible for producing high‑quality residential siding products through accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service, and cost are the highest priorities. The Siding Operator will perform various rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations, supporting the managers and all plant staff to meet operational goals.
Essential Duties
Work safely and assume responsibility for the safety of self and others.
Follow all safety rules and policies
Rotate all four (4) work stations
Forming Operation
Complete Quality Assurance Reports correctly
Complete Production Reports correctly
Operate Machinery to current Operating Parameters
Dump assigned amount of Raw Materials into each Batch
Report all repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Operate scale system
Assure all QA machinery is functioning properly (i.e., Weight Recorder)
Siding Operation
Complete Quality Assurance Reports correctly
Complete Production Reports correctly
Make minor adjustments to the machine
Report all repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Autoclave Operation
Complete Quality Assurance Reports correctly
Complete Production Reports correctly
Report all repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Assist on rack changes on the Punching and Finishing processes
Paint Machine Operation
Coating Systems Operator 1
Maintain QA parameters
Make minor adjustments to the machine
Report all needed repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Collect QC samples
Assist Coating Systems Operator 2
Assist operators in the running of the machine
Coating Systems Operator 2
Maintain QA parameters
Maintain paint levels on the Spray Barrels
Report all needed repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Assist Coating Systems Operator 1
Assist operators in the running of the machines

Report all repairs with a Work Order to a Supervisor
Correctly operate Feeder System to current Operating Parameters
Correctly fill out all paperwork issued by Supervisor
Document process upsets in the log book
Report all repairs to the Maintenance Department
Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain excellent housekeeping
Qualifications Required
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
Able to read and write effectively and perform basic math functions
Operator must be able to use a calculator
Qualifications Preferred
Demonstrate understanding of processes, equipment and product specs
Experience supporting production and business goals
Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, safety practices and procedures
Positive attitude, ability to adapt and contribute to a team is critical

Compensation Base Hourly Rate: $27.78
Base salary and/or rate of pay ranges listed are exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses.
