Job Posting
Seeking to hire a highly motivated, team-oriented individual as a full-time Public Works Maintenance I Worker to perform duties in streets, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water, and parks departments. Some experience in similar or related field is required. Experience with public contact and GIS software and having a Class B CDL with tanker endorsements is desired. Position requires participation in an on-call rotation with the ability to respond to emergencies.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D., valid Class D driver’s license, computer skills, the ability to read plans such as utility maps, as-builts and street improvement plans, ability to communicate and follow directions. Must be able to obtain Class B Commercial driver’s license within 6 months of hire.
