Project Scheduler – Large Project Organization (LPO) We are seeking a Project Scheduler to develop and maintain all project scheduling activities in strict accordance with contract documents. This role reports to the Raleigh, NC office and has no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
Use industry‑standard scheduling tools to create, finalize, and maintain the LPO schedule, ensuring all contractually defined requirements are adhered to.
Load resources—both human and financial—into the project schedule and maintain updated resource assignments.
Provide preliminary planning and schedule analysis for the Project Executive, Project Management Team, and Sales Team during RFP responses and proposal preparation.
Review and critique subcontractor schedules, managing their ongoing maintenance.
Assist the Project Controller with monthly Applications for Payment and support the Project Management Team in assessing impacts from Changes‑in‑Scope, ASIs, RFIs, Field Orders, etc.; perform cash‑flow management, Earned Value analysis, and financial/human resource projections.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or state‑recognized GED.
1+ year of experience in the construction industry or a project support/scheduling environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
Willingness and ability to travel 50%-75% of the time.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
3+ years of experience with Direct Digital Controls (DDC) / Building Automation Controls.
5+ years as a Project Scheduler on complex construction projects.
Experience with Microsoft Project 2013, Microsoft Project Server, and Oracle Primavera P6 (certified).
