This full‑time Speech/Language Pathologist role involves evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders to restore function and enhance quality of life.
Responsibilities
Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, and document progress accurately.
Provide education to patients and families, addressing psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Coordinate care, participate in performance improvement and CQI activities, and contribute to departmental safety and educational programs.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in a related field.
State licensure as a Speech/Language Pathologist.
Preferred experience with geriatrics.
Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
Physical Requirements Position requires physical activities such as standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and good visual and auditory abilities.
Location & Schedule The role is based in Ironton, OH, with options for relocation and in‑person work, scheduled Monday to Friday with occasional weekend duties.
