Monday – Friday, 1st shift

Pay Rate:

$19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated

Yard Technician

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for

cleaning, repairing, and preparing modular units

to ensure they are in top condition for rental. This position requires

hands‑on skills

in general maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment operation. If you have a

What You’ll Do

Clean and repair

modular units

in the

yard .

Perform

general maintenance

tasks, including:

Sweeping and hosing out units.

Checking A/C functionality (if applicable).

Replacing tile or epoxy flooring.

Repairing drywall holes.

Cleaning windows, blinds, doors, floors, and walls.

Replacing light bulbs, locks, blinds, and door handles.

Painting interior and exterior surfaces.

Performing

minor welding and electrical repairs .

Completing any

necessary field repairs

for customer units.

Inspect and document

work completed, marking units as requiring further repairs ( red-tagged ) or ready for rental ( green-tagged ).

Ensure the

yard is organized , stocked with necessary supplies, and free from debris or hazards.

Operate a forklift

to load and unload containers from trucks and trailers.

Other duties as assigned to support overall yard operations.

Equipment You Will Use

Mop, cleaning supplies, and floor cleaners.

Paint and painting materials (brushes, rollers, stencils, etc.).

Drywall putty and repair tools.

Welding equipment (preferred but not required).

General maintenance and electrical hand tools.

Gas-powered forklift.

Computer for timekeeping and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

0–2 years of experience in general labor, maintenance, or repair work.

High school diploma or GED required.

Welding experience preferred but not required.

Current driver’s license required.

Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Reliability and regular attendance are essential to this role.
