Staff Accountant (Full-Time, On-Site)
Location: Birmingham, AL

Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
What You’ll Do
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts; assist with journal entries and month-end close.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, coding, and collections follow-up.
Assist in preparing financial statements and internal reports.
Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Support compliance activities and assist with internal and external audits.
Perform financial and operational analysis to support business decisions.
Assist with tax-related processes and documentation.
Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve reporting and processes.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1+ year of accounting or finance experience in a corporate environment.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
CPA or progress toward CPA is highly preferred.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Clear communicator who works well in a team-oriented environment.
