Assistant Controller (Hybrid – San Antonio)
Compensation: $120,000–$130,000
A rapidly growing, mission-driven healthcare organization (currently $50M in revenue with 40% projected growth) is seeking an Assistant Controller to strengthen its accounting operations, elevate processes, and support the company’s continued expansion. What You’ll Own Month-End Close
Lead and manage a timely, accurate month-end close process
Ensure financial statements meet GAAP standards
Process Improvements
Strengthen accounting workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency
Key Projects
Lease Accounting (ASC 842): Manage compliance across 30+ leases
Fixed Assets: Build a complete Fixed Asset system, including policies and SOPs
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Certifications
CPA or CMA strongly preferred
Experience
Strong GAAP and corporate audit background
Multi-site healthcare or private equity–backed growth environment experience preferred
Proven success leading implementation initiatives and process improvements
Minimum 3+ years of supervisory/management experience
