Fleet Mechanic

This is an on-site, full-time Fleet Mechanic role based in Helena, MT. The Fleet Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles and heavy equipment. Daily tasks include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing issues, troubleshooting, completing repairs efficiently, and ensuring the safety and functionality of all fleet equipment. A commitment to safety protocols and excellence in service is essential to this role.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance & Repair tasks for a variety of vehicles and equipment

Expertise in Heavy Equipment operation, maintenance, and repair

Strong Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve vehicle or equipment issues effectively

Familiarity with safety guidelines and practices in working with fleet services

Relevant technical certifications or vocational training in mechanics preferred

Proven experience in a similar role, particularly in maintaining municipal or commercial fleets, is advantageous.
