Fitness Ventures, LLC (Crunch Fitness)
As a brand ambassador, a Personal Trainer represents Crunch Franchise to members and clients by delivering a positive fitness experience and quality personal training sessions. The role focuses on achieving member retention and client acquisition by guiding individuals to successful fitness outcomes through education and motivation.
Client Services
Create an outstanding initial personal training experience for introductory package clients.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive fitness programs tailored to clients' goals, including exercise selection, nutritional programming, and lifestyle education.
Inform clients about the fitness tools available to help them reach their objectives.
Set expectations and hold clients accountable by goal setting, follow‑up discussions, and progress tracking.
Demonstrate safe and proper exercise technique.
Sales and Member Service
Instruct members on proper use of club equipment and exercise techniques.
Assist with member service activities (e.g., fitness seminars, boot camps, body fat assessments, supplement demonstrations) as requested by club management.
Understand and promote the benefits of Smart Start Kick Off to provide a positive fitness experience for members and guests.
Help with weight racking and maintain a neat, organized, and clean club environment.
Administration / Misc.
Design comprehensive fitness programs using company‑provided tools.
Schedule all personal training sessions, appointments, and administrative time using company systems (ABC/Datatrak).
Execute Trainer Business Plan activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Certifications One or more of the following certifications is required:
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) – Certified Personal Trainer, Health Fitness Specialist
American Council on Exercise (ACE) – Personal Trainer Certification
The Cooper Institute – Personal Trainer Certification
International Fitness Professionals Association (IFPA) – Personal Fitness Trainer Certification
National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) – Certified Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)
National Exercise and Sports Trainers Association (NESTA) – Personal Fitness Trainer Certification
National Federation of Professional Trainers (NFPT) – Personal Trainer Certification
National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) – Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
Employment Eligibility
All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States and maintain that eligibility throughout employment. Proof of eligibility will be required at hiring.
