About The Role We are seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Lawyer specializing in Workers' Compensation cases to join our dynamic legal team in Louisiana. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling workers' compensation claims from start to trial and will be dedicated to providing outstanding legal representation to our clients, specifically representing injured workers seeking wage and medical benefits for on-the-job injuries.

Responsibilities
Handle workers' compensation case from inception to completion, ensuring all procedural requirements are met.
Investigate workers' compensation claims, gather evidence, and build a strong case to support our clients.
Represent injured workers seeking wage and medical benefits for on-the-job injuries, ensuring they receive the compensation and medical care they deserve.
Draft, review, and file 1008 Disputed Claim for Compensation, motions, discovery responses, demand letters, pleadings, subpoenas, memorandums, and other legal documents related to workers' compensation cases.
Converse with clients, expert witnesses, supporting witnesses, insurance company adjusters, and medical providers to gather information relevant to workers' compensation claims.
Serve as legal counsel on clients' behalf at hearings, mediations, trials, depositions, and litigation specific to workers' compensation cases.
Maintain effective communication with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, opposing counsel, the court, and internal team members to efficiently and effectively resolve cases.
Draft settlement demands and negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and/or defense counsel.
Prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously.
Provide outstanding customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and their cases are handled with the utmost care and professionalism.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing.
Extensive experience in handling workers' compensation cases.
Prior experience representing injured workers strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of Louisiana workers' compensation laws and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
