Junior Banker Administrative Assistant
to join its Global Banking & Markets division in Chicago. This is an entry-level opportunity offering hands‑on experience within a dynamic and high‑performance investment banking environment. Ideal candidates will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with a background in administration, customer service, hospitality, events, or call centers.
Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Rate: $20–$24/hour
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Duration: 6+ months (Immediate Start)
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to a team of 25+ junior bankers, including Analysts, Associates, and Junior Vice Presidents
Manage calendars, schedule meetings and conference calls across global time zones
Handle a high volume of calls and emails, ensuring accurate and timely communication
Coordinate internal and external meetings, including room bookings and video conferencing logistics
Arrange domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, visa applications, and car service bookings
Process expenses and invoices with attention to detail and timeliness
Support general office administration and ad‑hoc requests from banking teams
Provide backup coverage for colleagues during absences or vacation periods
Qualifications
Administrative or customer‑facing experience preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable interacting with team members at all levels of the organization
Ability to work independently in a high‑pressure, fast‑paced environment
Resourceful and proactive in problem‑solving and task management
Maintain confidentiality and exhibit discretion in handling sensitive information
