Location: Dalton, GA

Classification: Salary (Exempt)

Summary The Human Resources Generalist works closely with the HRBP Manager and the HR Sr. Director, providing innovative people solutions for complex business issues. The role supports talent development, coaching, organizational design, and strategic decision‑making, and is accountable for workforce planning, staffing, learning & development, compensation and retention strategies, benefits, performance assessment processes, employee relations, and all other HR functional disciplines.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with leadership to influence, develop, implement, and manage policies, programs, and services in areas such as recruitment and retention, performance management, and employee relations.

Coordinate and oversee all HR‑related activities across all levels of the organization.

Analyze situations, identify and forecast problems, and recommend or implement appropriate courses of action.

Manage the recruiting process for both hourly and salaried positions.

Conduct orientation programs to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.

Prepare advanced reports using Excel or similar software (e.g., payroll reconciliation, monthly labor costs, headcount, quarterly commissions, audits documentation).

Maintain employee files and the HR filing system.

Prepare employee separation notices, conduct exit interviews, and maintain required documentation.

Plan team‑building events for employees.

Administer the employee performance evaluation process.

Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Create and send reminders and communications to employees on various HR matters.

Maintain strict confidentiality of personnel information.

Keep up to date with employment laws and best practices and communicate these to management.

Adhere to Hanwha Q CELLS policies and procedures.

Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of relevant human resources experience.

Knowledge of HR operations, administration, and recruiting strategies.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Assertive, able to cope with pressure, and a team player.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related business field.

Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk in the production area throughout the workday.

Ability to reach, push, pull, or lift within limits set by Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Preferred Qualifications

PHR certification.

Experience in high‑volume recruiting.
