Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students with diverse learning needs. The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with IEP requirements while fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state regulations
Provide differentiated instruction tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Deliver instruction in various settings including inclusion, resource, and self‑contained classrooms
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families
Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and professional development
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
Valid state teaching certification/licensure in Special Education
Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and special education compliance
Strong classroom management and instructional skillsExcellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
