Irving, TX , a facility specialising in long‑term and rehabilitative care. We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with skilled nursing supervisory experience to provide high‑quality, compassionate patient care.
Schedule:
4 days on, 2 days off rotating schedule (10 pm – 6 am shifts).
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of practice in accordance with licensure requirements.
Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet resident needs in collaboration with the Director of Nursing.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
Implement and evaluate individualized care plans.
Identify and secure necessary equipment and supplies.
Direct and oversee subordinates, organise and coordinate job tasks, and allocate time.
Oversee and monitor the performance of subordinate staff; institute appropriate discipline or training.
Ensure infection control compliance and investigate/documents accidents and incidents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Current, valid LVN licensure (Texas).
Preferred experience in long‑term healthcare.
Required management/supervisory experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
