Job Overview Southeast 7 is a surgical unit specializing in neurosurgery, vascular patients, and orthopedics. The unit features all private rooms and a new surgical tower, offering great opportunities. Nurses provide professional bedside care, collaborate with the health care team, and use evidence‑based practice to coordinate and deliver direct patient care.
Responsibilities
Clinical Practice: Provide expert patient care based on standards and the nursing process.
Service Excellence: Deliver patient‑centered services and improve the care environment.
Professional Development & Communication: Support peers, mentor learners, and demonstrate effective team communication.
Research & Evidence‑Based Practice: Participate in educational activities supporting evidence‑based care and outcomes.
Organization Contributions: Contribute to unit operations, policies, and safe environment.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years RN experience in an acute care setting.
BS in Nursing preferred.
Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State.
Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).
Employment Details
Full‑time, 36 hours per week.
Shift: Days, Evenings, and Nights.
Mid‑Senior level.
