Job Overview The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing and integrating comprehensive project plans and schedules throughout the project life cycle, from concept design through turnover, for each of the projects that Universal Creative undertakes. The role assists the Master Scheduler in collecting, integrating, and monitoring current project schedules and future projects into a Portfolio Master Schedule that tracks and monitors all projects for USH Creative senior management.
Responsibilities
Develop a working knowledge of all aspects of each project: creative, show/ride elements and systems, construction and park requirements, through discussions with team members and review of drawings.
Develop project schedules to the appropriate level of detail, including activities, durations, and logic sequences to ensure accurate monitoring; modify as necessary and assist in defining specific project requirements.
Coordinate and integrate schedule input from all internal and external sources.
Generate and review schedules, progress reports and other tools to communicate accurate project status.
Evaluate and resolve schedule variances and, in concert with the project teams, develop work‑around plans.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, stakeholders, contractors, vendors, etc.
Understand and actively participate in the project execution process.
Attend and lead project whiteboard meetings during the construction and installation phases.
Consistently walk the job site to assess progress.
Based on progress and scope, plan future activities, surface potential issues, and develop strategies to mitigate or eliminate those issues.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction, or Engineering.
3‑5 years of planning and scheduling or cost engineering experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Thorough knowledge of planning techniques.
Knowledge of multiple disciplines, including architecture, engineering, and construction management.
Computer literate with multiple software applications (Primavera, Word, Excel, MS Project, etc.).
Desired Characteristics
Theme park environment experience preferred.
Additional Requirements
Required On‑Site: This position must be performed full‑time from an NBCUniversal‑designated worksite.

Salary range: $75,000–100,000 (bonus eligible).
