position at

Williamsburg Landing

a 141-bed continuing care retirement community in

Williamsburg, VA ~

located in the

s outheastern part of the state near several pristine beaches! This position is 40% clinical, 30% wellness & education and 30% dining services support.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced Dietitian!

Start with 3 Weeks' Vacation and 3 Personal Days!

No Weekends or Holidays!

Potential for Remote Work!

Reimbursement for Academy dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewal

Money toward continuing education events

Up to $5000 tuition reimbursement annually

What You'll Do

Provide compassionate care to skilled nursing and/or rehab residents;

Consistently meet DOH/state/federal and company standards;

Serve as an active member of the interdisciplinary team, working closely with nursing & medical staff and attending care conferences as assigned;

Partner with the Director of Wellness to support community health initiatives (e.g., diabetes, heart health, weight management).

Assist with health screenings and wellness events.

Perform recipe analysis, allergy management, and menu compliance.

Train dining staff on nutrition principles and safe food handling.

What You Bring

Registered Dietitian credentials;

Licensure in state of Maryland (LDN);

Strong verbal and written communication skills;

Ability to work well with physicians, nursing and ancillary staff; and;

Qualifications & Requirements Minimum Education Requirement: Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)

Credentials Requirement: Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian
