Nurse Practitioner
Shifts: Days, Mon-Fri
Location: Brownwood, TX
Shift Timings: 8 am - 5 pm (No on calls/Weekends/holidays)
About The Role We are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic Urgent Care & Family Medicine clinic. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care, focusing primarily on family medicine while also managing urgent care cases. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in both family medicine and urgent care settings.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, lab work, and EKGs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.
Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Provide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure quality patient care.
Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently using the EMR system (eCW).
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with clinic policies and procedures.
Requirements
Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license (Family Nurse Practitioner preferred).
Graduate of an accredited NP program.
Strong clinical decision‑making and diagnostic skills.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
