Work hours:
Part Time, Day Shift (7a–7p), 2 shifts per week, 24 hours total. Weekend and holiday coverage required.

What You Will Do
Assist patients according to the care plan.
Collect patient data, identify and report significant findings to the nurse.
Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge.
Provide and revise activities of daily living based on patient/family preferences.
Perform technical procedures safely and proficiently.
Takes action to reduce or eliminate patient risk.
Enter orders into the computer or manual system.
Document accurately and appropriately.
Collaborate with nurse to adapt care to reflect patient population and cultural/religious needs.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Anticipate patient/family/visitor needs and round as appropriate.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED).
Current TX CNA or PCT training with NHA, NAHP, NCCT, accredited community college, or THR approved program.
Current EMT‑TX or military medical training equivalent to EMT‑B.
1 year of applicable PCT experience if lacking active certification.
Current nursing student with completed fundamentals or foreign nurse degree program.
Previous hospital experience preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) prior to providing independent patient care; maintained quarterly.
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training within 60 days of hire.
